Blowback – Graphic Novel

Blowback is written by James Hereth (Mowgli: The New Adventures of the Jungle Book, Extreme Team) and Rhonda Smiley (Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation, Race). With art by Kev Hopgood (Iron Man, 2000 AD) and coloring by Charlie Kirchoff (Star Wars Adventures, Judge Dredd Classics).
The Story:
A present-day U.S. Marine and his unit disappear in the Bermuda Triangle, only to find themselves in the year 1776. There, they battle to maintain the course of history as they face off against a stranded World War Two era Destroyer turned ruthless pirate ship.
Juxtaposing elements of three distinct time periods – The American Revolution, World War Two, and the present – Blowback highlights clashes of weaponry, culture, technology, and perspective. The result is a high-octane take on historical fiction.

The Love of the Game is an 11 page Black Mirror-style story of obsession centered around a gamer’s love of an all too familiar 1980s arcade video game we all know and love.
