Big Stuff From Valiant at 2019’s New York Comic Con

What To See

This year’s New York Comic Con will run from the third of October until the sixth held at the Javits Center in New York City. Events that are expected include signings by the female writers of DC Comics and a 20th anniversary panel for Angel. Guests that fans can run into include Ant-Man’s Paul Rudd and Doctor Who’s Christopher Eccleston.

Valiant’s Booth

Out of the many things to look forward to, however, is Valiant Comics as they are planning numerous events. With a new movie based on one of their properties, that being Bloodshot, that is in production with Vin Diesel in the lead, Valiant will reveal a prototype action figure of the unstoppable superhero. The action figure is meant to promote the film, which comes out in 2020 on February 21, and can be seen in Valiant’s booth, #1635.

At the booth you can also meet with many of Valiant’s creators and other legends of the comic book industry where they can sign whatever merchandise you have. Included at the signing are Moon Knight and Bloodshot artist Declan Shalvey, Bob Layton and Kevin VanHook who co-created Bloodshot, and YouTube creators like Comicstorian and ComicPOP. The booth will also offer merchandise for any big Valiant fans so you can buy comics, character pins, and logo shirts.

Game Changing Panel

Most importantly, the comic book publisher will have a panel on the fifth at 6:30 P.M. in Room 1A02. The panel. dubbed Valiant Uprising: News and Announcements and More, will be hosted by Comicstorian and will involve a major announcement. Featuring an all-star lineup of Valiant creators, there will be a special appearance by Julie Murphy, a New York Times bestselling author who’s novel Dumplin’ was adapted into a Netflix movie. This is the only place where you will get to see brand-new artwork from two upcoming titles.
