Mad Cave Studios More Painful Delays due to COVID-19
With the world changing by the hour with COVID-19, it seems we have to accept the new normal is going to be delay after delay. States and borders are closing. Retail stores are closing. With that, everyone’s future seems quite uncertain – including that of Comic Book Shops.
In an effort to do their part, along with the Comic Book Retailer COVID-19 Relief Fund, Mad Cave Studios has announced that it will be delaying each of its debut series for the foreseeable future.
Spokesperson and Editor Chris Fernandez had the following comment:
In response to Diamond Comic Distributors’ announcement yesterday, we will also be delaying any book shipping in April by about a month. We will be assessing the situation on a weekly basis and we will adjust accordingly. That doesn’t mean that Mad Cave is going anywhere. All of Mad Cave’s quality titles will be at the stores for you once the lockdowns have been lifted and everyone is safe. We know it can be hard to wait, and everyone at Mad Cave, staff and creators alike, believe this is best for everyone.
In the meantime, keep an eye on our social media pages and our weekly newsletters for up to date information on all things Mad Cave Studios. There is still plenty going on in the Cave and we wouldn’t want you to miss out.
