FEATURED: MechaTon #1 – A Non Stop Explosive Ride

About MechaTon #1

There’s a dynamic Young Adult action comic in the winds called MechaTon #1. The creative team is Wells Thompson, Dalton Shannon, Fernando Pinto, Mayday Trippe, and Nathan Kempf.

Trust me when I saw that if you enjoy the idea of trash robots punching giant monsters then this Indie Comic Book is right up your alley. This comic is a non-stop, explosive ride with so much nostalgia built into the core of its being.

MechaTon Synopsis

Siblings Derek and Leah don’t really have a plan. All they know is that video games are awesome and that you should always look out for your neighbor. When giant mutant insects start terrorizing the neighborhood, they’ll have to get off the couch and do something about it.

Luckily, everything they need just fell out of the sky: the MechaTon glove, a machine that converts anything it punches into a real life Gundam, whether it’s a hotdog stand or the entire planet. They aren’t the only ones who want to take advantage of this power, though; if they want to save their neighborhood, they’ll have to battle corporations, the military, and actual space fascists. Here’s hoping they look cool doing it.

MechaTon is a story about fighting for your community against selfishness and authoritarianism, getting by with clever thinking and teamwork, and trying to out-pun your little sister and her strange, witchy significant other. Also, trash robots punching giant monsters is thrown in the mix.
