Created by writer Enrica Jang, artist Alex McCormack, colorist/letterer Mark Mullaney, colorist Rachel Perciphone and letterer Justin Birch, Crossing is about an annoying goth princess who haunts the rookie train conductor who ran her over. She says her death was murder made to look like suicide, and she can’t cross over until he helps her solve the case.

What’s Crossing About?
We’ve put together a brief synopsis, extracted from the creator’s Kickstarter campaign page, to give you a bit of an idea of Crossing and where the overall series is headed.
Crossing #1
After a meet-cute with a locomotive, DARC train engineer, M.C. Tejada, is haunted by the ghost of Nina Goldman, a goth girl with a grudge. He says her death was suicide, She knows she was murdered, and not by the poor guy who ran her over. The relationship is a roller coaster of pain for both parties, but Nina is convinced she would never have killed herself and she can’t cross over until M.C. helps her solve the case.
Crossing #2
The paranormal odd couple stumble onto a support group of ghosts and hosts in the same predicament: people stuck together by circumstance and trying to move on with their (after)lives. The hosts have a working theory that they can find a way for the ghosts to break on through to the other side, but nothing has done it yet. “Conscious uncoupling” gets a whole new look as we learn more about the ghosts run to ground and the Conductors doing their best to figure out how to help.
Crossing #3
While Nina is focused on solving her dead/undead predicament, the family she left behind is struggling through grief. Nicole believes her sister committed suicide and nothing and no one seems to be able to help her cope.
Crossing #4
The ghosts begin to piece together clues that might help two of them finally cross over. They just have to do a little more to convince their hosts they’re onto something.
Crossing #5
The plan is set in motion… until Nina’s little sister crosses unwittingly into danger and some undead elements from Vince’s past may threaten to derail the whole thing. Now it’s up to this ad-hoc team of conductors to keep this train from flying off track. The ghosts are already dead; their living counterparts may be next!
Crossing #6
Well, the creators seem to be keeping this hush hush. Even the cover. Which isn’t the worst in the world given just how much fun this comic book series to date.
