Behemoth Gives to Charity
Freak Snow #1, the first release from Happy Tank, the new imprint of Behemoth Comics, which launched publicly last week – are giving to Charity. Behemoth Comics have kicked this off in a heartfelt way in the Current March Previews by dedicating profits of the Freak Snow #1 – Variant Cover C by Dimitris Pantazis, to the charity Hero Initiative.
The Hero Initiative creates a financial safety net for comic creators who may need emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life, and an avenue back into paying work.
Happy Tank Publisher and Freak Snow creator Kevin Roditeli had the following to say about this initiative:
‘’Now that I’m publishing, it’s important for me to start by giving back to those who made comics my passion, those who drove me for years to get into this position. I think there was no better way than raising money for the Hero Initiative, which is helping out creators that have all inspired us with their craft.’’
Happy Tank (and Behemoth Comics) are encouraging retailers to jump into the charity event with them by giving an Exclusive cover for FREE to the retailers who sell the most copies. They are also giving a Sketch by artist Rob Cannon to the customer who purchases the biggest amount of copies at a registered retailer.
Support this initiative by using the following Diamond Order Code: MAR211145.
