Even before the release of the Morbius movie, there have been comic books that feature Marvel’s vampires. Morbius has a rich history in comics. The first comic appeared in January 1971.
However, unlike other vampires in fiction, Morbius did not become a vampire because he was bitten by another vampire or born with vampire blood. 15. Morbius: The Living Vampire: The Man Called Morbius
In this comic series, Dr. Michael Morbius is a decent human being who deserves a second opportunity. An unexpected enemy appears as Morbius tries to avoid detection, and they intend to eliminate him. 14. Vampire Tales Volume 1 #1-3
In this comic series, Morbius teams up with Satana – the Devil’s daughter and sinister succubus – against demons, cults, and mortals even more evil. This is one of the black-and-white horror tales from the 1970s horror boom.
13. Vampire Tales 2 #4-7
Vampires became evil in 1974, and Morbius can not catch a break as he battles a demon cult and the bizarre Death-Flame for the life of Amanda Saint. The comic also allows readers to experience the origin of Morbius. This issue also features Lilith, the daughter of Dracula, and many more vampires.

In order to combat a terrifying threat unlike any other, Marvel’s Midnight Sons team up with Johnny Blaze and Dan Ketch to race side by side as the Spirits of Vengeance! 11. Morbius The Living Vampire Omnibus
In this comic, Dr. Michael Morbius is afflicted by an insatiable thirst for blood due to a botched experiment, but his heart still beats normally. He actually is a vampire! The entire original Morbius saga is collected in this amazing Omnibus, starting with his first appearance, and continuing through his first color comic and black-and-white series to the rare stories that wrapped up his tragic saga.
10. Marvel Team-Up Issues #3-4
Legendary writer Gerry Conway creates the first story featuring Morbius since his introduction, revealing that the character has survived the events of his previous confrontation with Spider-Man and the Lizard. It is essential for forging links between Morbius and the Fantastic Four and expressly highlights Morbius’s brilliance as a renowned theorist who corresponds with Reed Richards, arguably Marvel’s most intelligent character.
9. Marvel Two-in-One Issue #15
Marvel continues to build on the connections between Morbius and the Fantastic Four that have already been made, this time through a narrative that features the Living Vampire and the Thing as they must cooperate to battle the Living Eraser. 8. Ultimate Spiderman Issue #95
Morbius is reimagined for a modern audience in the early 2000s Ultimate Spider-Man #95 issue. For new readers, this issue is an excellent place to start. Like many other Ultimate characters, Morbius in the live-action version of the movie could be influenced by this issue.
As the biological son of Dracula, the character has a new origin in this issue, recontextualizing him and transforming him into a complete vampire. He continues to be a complex hero nevertheless, becoming a full-fledged vampire hunter, much like his sporadic adversary Blade.
7. Giant-Size Werewolf
The conflict between Morbius and the Werewolf was featured in this issue. Again, Comic book readers are aware that Werewolf By Night is a major figure in the Marvel Universe’s supernatural subplot, and this issue contributes to illuminating the subtleties of two characters who are both gravely misunderstood by the people they are attempting to assist.

6. Doctor Strange Issue #14
The first chapter of a big plot that would have significant consequences for the Marvel Universe and perhaps influence the MCU can be found in Doctor Strange #14. In this plot, Morbius and Doctor Strange learn that real vampires have made a comeback. The MCU needs to embrace Doctor Strange’s intimate connection to the paranormal, especially as it relates to characters like Morbius, Werewolf, and Moon Knight, and it most likely will to some extent when more horror-themed characters arise.
5. Amazing Spiderman Issue #380
A significant issue in the Maximum Carnage crossover event from the early 1990s, The Amazing Spider-Man #380 marked a turning point in the long-running rivalry between Morbius and Spider-Man. In a titanic struggle, the two put aside their differences to defeat Carnage. In a scene that may serve as a glimpse of upcoming developments in the Sony Marvel Universe, Morbius teams up with a group of superheroes, including Venom, to stop Carnage. Even though in the movies Carnage looks to be dead, he might come back and inspire a crossover among various Sony characters.
4. Marvel Premiere Issue #28
The Legion of Monsters, a supernatural superhero team that is expected to play a role in live-action in some way, is introduced in Marvel Premiere #28. Morbius teams up with Werewolf and Man-Thing to fight Starseed, a cosmic being. Werewolf’s arrival in the MCU and Morbius’ appearance in the Sony Marvel Universe suggest that Man-Thing and the Legion of Monsters won’t be far behind. Man-Thing in Marvel Comics has a specific link to the multiverse because he is the guardian of the Nexus Of All Realities.

3. Absolute Carnage: Lethal Protectors
Included are issues #1–3 of Absolute Carnage: Lethal Protectors, as well as issue #1 of Absolute Carnage: Avengers. New York City is welcoming the Carnage cult! When we last saw John Jameson, Misty Knight was bringing him back from the scene of a massacre in Doverton, Colorado. Both of them have vanished without a trace ever since.
As Spiderman’s deadly enemy is reborn in the basement of the Ravencroft Institute for the Criminally Insane, how did they become the only two individuals who could stop the carnage from happening?
They need help from Iron Fist, Morbius, and Cloak & Dagger to take down the undead Demogoblin, but can they get it? Morbius The Living Vampire makes his Marvel Comics debut in The Amazing Spider-Man #101. The complicated past of Dr. Michael Morbius is mostly established in this issue.
The issue marks the explosive debut of Morbius. This issue was written by Roy Thomas and illustrated by Gil Kane. When Spider-Man runs into Morbius, who at first seems to be a real vampire but is later proven to be much more than he seems, he possesses four arms and is attempting to lose his powers.
