First Impressions
It’s great to see Top Cow delve back into the crime meets supernatural horror comic book space. Revolver is the kind of dark grit that was present in early Top Cow titles like The Darkness and Angelus. The seedy underbelly of this fictional world continues to be present in this brief snapshot offered to us by the powers that be.
Still, there’s something about this series that tip toes on the territory of sinister evil. Top Cow have tapped back into the aspects of comic book publishing that made them so f**king great in the late 90s. Fingers, toes and every other appendage crossed that it doesn’t stop here.
